Today was a mix of struggle and beauty.
I couldn’t sleep well and ended up waking around 3 AM. The day started rough as I was sick with a high fever. I tried to rest the entire day, but the loud music and voices from the festivities kept me awake. Today was Makar Sankranti, the kite-flying festival. It’s a day when people gather on terraces, fly kites, and celebrate—especially here in Gujarat.
By the evening, I started feeling better and decided to go for my regular walk. However, I went later than usual, around 6:30 PM. The sun had already set, but the sky was brighter than usual, with kites still soaring and firecrackers lighting up the horizon. The scene was magical, reminiscent of Diwali, with the colorful sky and celebrations all around.
Because of my sickness, I couldn’t walk much today—just about 2,692 steps. My total steps for the month so far are 82,354.
