Yeah, again a kind of regular day, but somehow also a good one — I don't really know. Woke up at 7 AM and since it's Saturday, I started working by 8 AM on some security testing of APIs for the company. Did that for like 2 hours, until around 10 AM.
After that, I jumped into product testing of APIsec — working on making vulnerable apps to test against their scanner. Spent another 2 hours on that. So yeah, a solid 4-hour straight work block in the morning — I don’t even remember the last time I did that, definitely not in the past couple of months! Still, I don’t know if I’d call it a productive day overall.
Then I picked back up on the series Succession — started it long ago, maybe a month back, and now I’ve reached Season 4, Episode 3. This episode hit really hard: Logan Roy dies. Definitely the most emotional moment in the series so far. Honestly, this show is amazing in terms of storyline, and also gives insight into how things move at that high corporate level. The character development is wild. I really like the Roy siblings, especially Shiv / Siobhan — her character is really layered, and her dynamic in the show is something else.
After that, I took a nap in the afternoon.
In the evening, I went on my regular walk while listening to some soothing, instrumental music. And idk — whenever I do that, it’s like all my thoughts just start rocketing through my head. I end up talking to myself mentally the whole time — thinking about personal stuff, different scenarios, goals, work at the company, where I see myself in the next 1-2 years, potential constraints, and everything else. Sometimes, I even come up with amazing thoughts that I jot down while walking. So yeah, even though I go on walks to stay calm, my mind goes into overdrive during those moments.
Anyway, I had a total of 5,204 steps today, and that brings the monthly total to 66,731 steps
