instead journaling my day ig this is off journal with so much garbage.i'll keep it normal

Today was another regular day with no actual work.

Yesterday, I went to bed around 12 AM and woke up today at 7:30 AM. I was about to start my work, but since my uncle and cousin brother were not home, I had to take care of something important.

Let me share a bit about my living situation. I live with my uncle and aunt in a small city, and I have been staying with them since 5th standard. My father and grandmother live in my village, and my uncle visits them daily for 3–4 hours. He also takes tiffin for my father and grandmother every day, no matter what.

Today, my uncle went to Prayagraj for the Kumbh Mela, and my cousin wasn’t home. So, I had to go to the village to deliver their tiffin.

🚗 The Ride to My Village

This short and quick ride was amazing! The roads leading to my village are smooth, and the countryside view is just stunning—full of green fields, trees, and fresh air.

On the way, I passed through a historically rich village called Bhadran. I took some photos of this village because of its unique history and architecture.

📜 About Bhadran Village

Bhadran is known as the "Paris of the Gaekwad state". Before independence, it was ruled by the King of Vadodara. This village had India’s first drainage system, which was working till last year.

Bhadran is also a NRI hub, with most of its people living abroad. It follows a unique Samras Gram Panchayat system, where leaders are chosen by consensus instead of elections. Because of this, the government provides them with special grants, and NRIs help in renovation.

Historically, 800 properties in the village belonged to the Maharaja and his family. Many of these properties are now under legal dispute, leading to the demolition of old heritage houses and construction of new ones.

The village is well-known for Patel families involved in the tobacco trade. Many of them migrated to South Africa and later to the USA. Some famous personalities from Bhadran include:

The village still has old heritage buildings with signs from the Quit India Movement. You can still see the slogans on the walls saying "Go Back British!". (For more details, check: Bhadran, Gujarat)

🔙 Back Home & Work

I reached home around 10:30 AM. Since I didn’t have much work, I had a casual meeting with my friends and colleagues.

In the afternoon, I took a good 1-hour nap. Later, I had a call with developers for bug re-testing and root cause analysis.

🚶‍♂️ Steps & Walk

In the evening, I went for my daily walk and completed 6,375 steps.

With that, my total steps for the month are now 146,215.
