So, today was a better day. Had actual work to do, so I kept myself busy and didn’t lose the rhythm of working.
Yesterday, I went to bed around 2 AM—so late, because I was in a 4-hour-long meeting, planning and discussing things. Also, we hacked into our university’s medical hospital and found a massive data leak—patients' info, doctors’ info, everything! 😬
Despite sleeping late, I somehow woke up at 5 AM instead of my usual 7:30 AM. Not sure why, but some disturbance woke me up, so I barely got 3-4 hours of sleep. 😩
After 7:30 AM, I sat in front of my laptop, did my daily reading (articles, security blogs, etc.), and also wrote yesterday’s journal since I didn’t get time to write it earlier due to a meeting.
Then I did some security testing on 1-2 targets. After that, I finally worked on something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time. My friend and I explored solutions related to our strategy, researched competitor companies, and tried to hack into their systems to reveal their features, functionalities, and offerings. 👀
Now, my close friend did something kinda silly. 😂 so based on our strategy she need to explore features of a software, so we used leaked customer info to log in as one of their customers and browsed around. The problem? She mistakenly uploaded her photo into the software, and guess what? The software had no option to delete images or remove an application once submitted. 😭 At that moment, i was scared and laughing at the same time. Luckily, it was a sandbox environment, and the user wasn’t active on the platform, so we avoided any major issues.
In the afternoon, I did some more hacking on a different software. After that, I took a nap. 💤
Later, I got a message from my cousin sisterabout brother being too annoying lately and not being grateful & so many other things. Family drama. 🙄 I'm trying to act as a mediator to resolve the conflict, but honestly, this brother is just so dumb. 😤
Anyway, leaving that frustration aside, I went for my daily walk in the evening and did 5,568 steps. With that, my total steps for the month are now 131,307. 🚶♂️
