So yeah, I didn't write journals in the last two days because there was serious tension between India and Pakistan — it felt almost like a war situation.
Here’s what happened: around 15 days ago, a terrorist attack occurred in Pahalgam and about 26–27 civilians were killed. In response, on May 7th, the Indian Army launched a surprise airstrike — specifically targeting terrorist infrastructure (not Pakistani army or civilians).
Our strike was clear and focused — a message that we will not sit quietly. However, Pakistan responded with artillery and drone attacks on civilian areas along the border — in J&K, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and more. Their attacks included missiles, rockets, and over 500 drones — most of them were intercepted by Indian defense systems.
India responded again — targeting their military infrastructure and airbases. Eventually, after heavy retaliation and loss on both sides, a ceasefire was agreed upon today, May 10th. It was honestly a terrifying time, but Indian Armed Forces stood strong and saved us. Proud moment too — we gave a clear and strong message against terrorism.
Anyway, coming back to today — it’s just Saturday. Attended 1–2 casual meetings and not much work otherwise.
Went on my daily walk and had 5,412 steps. With that, the total steps for May are now 50,794.
